Floral arrangements are one of the many “duties” I am proud to be apart of at GHID. And Oh man, do I love it! Last week, I came across a DesignSponge DIY tutorial about incorporating vegetables into floral arrangements. With the holiday season in full force, it would be the perfect time to create one of these in your own home. Break out of the box of mums & roses and start incorporating leaves, fruit, or root vegetables. The colors are amazing when mixing in fruits and vegetables to your centerpieces or decor. Whenever we do a photoshoot for our portfolio, one of our favorite props is a beautiful arrangement, traditional to contemporary, its so fun to mix it up! Check out some of our faves…

┬áNow onto the sweet tutorial from DesignSponge. I love the idea of incorporating moss as a base, fun way to bulk up your arrangements now matter what container you choose. Also, the idea of creating a “mushroom mound” for smaller arrangements is absolutely adorable, see below. Have fun arranging and don’t forget the pops of color!
